Purpose of This Policy
This Cookie Fraud Prevention Policy sets out the practices MarTech360 (“MarTech360,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) follows to protect the cookie data we collect and use.
It covers the administrative, physical, and technical safeguards we use to keep that data confidential, accurate, and available, and to detect and stop fraudulent activity such as fake traffic, bot clicks, and cookie misuse.
Vendors and Service Providers
We sometimes work with outside vendors to deliver our services and meet our obligations. When we do, our Security Administrator is responsible for holding those vendors to the same standard we hold ourselves.
The Security Administrator will
- 1Make sure each vendor is contractually required to follow this Policy and all laws and regulations that apply to protected information.
- 2Monitor each vendor's compliance with those obligations.
- 3Report any vendor's failure to comply to MarTech360's senior management.
Fraud Monitoring
We run three ongoing checks to catch fraud early:
Spikes in complaints and withdrawals
We watch for sudden increases in complaints, unsubscribes, and consent withdrawals, which can be an early sign of fraudulent or bot-driven activity.
Fraud incident documentation
Every suspected fraud incident is recorded, investigated, and resolved through a documented response process.
Campaign analytics review
We check marketing analytics before, during, and after each campaign to spot unusual traffic, clicks, or conversions.
Encrypted Connections
Our website uses SSL/TLS certificates, so every connection runs over HTTPS. Data is encrypted before it travels between your browser and our servers. Even if someone intercepted it along the way, they would not be able to read it.
Firewall and Malware Scanning
An active web application firewall protects our website. It blocks hacking attempts and known malicious IP addresses before they reach the site.
We also scan the site regularly for malicious code and are alerted right away if anything suspicious is found.
Software Updates
We keep our website software, frameworks, and third-party components up to date. Updates bring new features and bug fixes, and they often close security gaps that attackers could otherwise exploit.
Website Hardening
We reduce the ways attackers can get in by hardening our website and the systems behind it. Our measures include:
- Strong, unique usernames and passwords for every account
- Blocking code from running in folders where it doesn't belong
- Disabling built-in file and code editors on the live site
- Limiting admin access to the people who need it
Changes to This Policy
We review our safeguards regularly and may update this Policy as threats, technology, and our business change. Updates take effect as soon as they are published on this page. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
