Aeven Group Names Kurt Bager as CEO
Aeven Group has named Kurt Bager as its new Chief Executive Officer. Bager will oversee the company as it places greater emphasis on commercial development, customer relationships, and growth across its technology business.
Bager joins Aeven from Auditdata, where he served as CEO. He brings more than 20 years of experience working across technology, customers, and business development, with a career that has included leadership responsibilities focused on organizational development and technology businesses.
At Aeven, Bager will lead a business focused on critical IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and SAP services. The company works with both private and public-sector organizations and operates its own data centers in the Copenhagen area.

His appointment comes as digital sovereignty and data security become increasingly important considerations for organizations managing critical technology environments. Aeven has identified these areas, alongside cloud and cybersecurity, as central components of its business and customer offering.
Bager’s initial focus will include gaining a closer understanding of Aeven’s business, employees, and customers before shaping the company’s next phase of development. According to Aeven, his mandate includes strengthening the company’s commercial development while building on its existing technical capabilities and customer relationships.
The leadership change also comes shortly after Aeven secured a major public-sector contract with KOMBIT for a shared operations platform serving Denmark’s municipalities. The agreement, announced in August, has a reported value of nearly DKK 700 million over a 12-year period.
Bager’s arrival therefore places him at the intersection of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and enterprise customer requirements. His background across technology and business development will be relevant as Aeven continues to develop its position in Denmark’s critical IT infrastructure market.
