dentsu X Names Jianna Ericson as Group Director, Planning

dentsu X has named Jianna Ericson as Group Director, Planning, marking a new step in her media planning career after a decade with Havas Media.
Ericson brings extensive experience in integrated media planning and has worked across client campaigns involving media strategy, connections planning, and audience engagement. Public industry records previously listed her as Director of Integrated Media Planning at Havas Media Group.
Her earlier work included media planning and connections strategy across major brand campaigns. Ericson was among the Havas Media team members involved in an award-winning out-of-home campaign for PUMA, where she was credited as a Planner in Connections Planning.

The move to dentsu X places Ericson in a Group Director role focused on planning, an area that has become increasingly connected to data, technology, audience intelligence, and cross-channel media activation.
Media planning has changed considerably as advertisers manage campaigns across traditional channels, digital platforms, connected TV, social media, and programmatic environments. Planning teams are increasingly required to bring these channels together while accounting for audience behavior, measurement requirements, and changing media consumption patterns.
For Ericson, the new position represents a transition from her long tenure at Havas Media into a broader planning leadership role at dentsu X. Her experience across integrated media planning provides a background relevant to the increasingly complex requirements of modern media strategy.
The move also reflects the continued movement of experienced media professionals between major agency networks as agencies adapt their planning structures around data, technology, and increasingly fragmented consumer audiences.
Ericson’s appointment adds another experienced planning leader to dentsu X as the agency continues to manage media strategies across a landscape where planning increasingly involves coordination between audience insights, technology, investment, and activation.
