IDX Appoints Adam Holloway as Chief Creative Officer

IDX has appointed Adam Holloway as chief creative officer, with the appointment taking effect in early November 2026. Holloway will oversee creative strategy, quality and consistency across the agency’s UK, US and international operations, with a focus on developing audience-focused communications and brand strategies.
Holloway joins IDX after 11 years at corporate communications agency Emperor, where he served as chief creative officer. During his tenure, he helped shape the agency’s creative direction and capabilities, leading projects across brand strategy, employee engagement and corporate communications for clients in the UK and international markets.
At IDX, Holloway will work to bring strategy, research and creative thinking together earlier in the communications process. The approach is intended to help teams develop stronger narratives, connect with audiences and address business challenges through more coordinated creative work.

The appointment comes as communications and marketing agencies reassess how creative strategy fits with data, audience insights and performance measurement. Businesses increasingly need communications that do more than establish brand identity; they must also reach relevant stakeholders, communicate complex ideas clearly and support wider organizational objectives.
For global agencies, maintaining creative consistency across markets while adapting messaging to local audiences presents an additional challenge. Holloway’s remit across IDX’s international operations places that balance among the key areas of his new role.
IDX operates across strategic communications, corporate communications, investor relations and performance marketing. Its integrated model brings together creative services, content, data and technology to support client communications across different channels and audiences.
Holloway’s appointment adds senior creative leadership as IDX continues to develop its customer-focused approach. His work will involve aligning creative ambition with audience insight and business priorities across the agency’s markets, at a time when organizations are placing greater emphasis on relevant, consistent and measurable communications.
