Laura Sanderson Joins Sightly as Director of Sales, UK Regions

Sightly has appointed Laura Sanderson as Director of Sales, UK Regions, adding sales leadership to its UK team as the company continues to develop its presence in the digital advertising market.
In her new role, Sanderson will focus on sales activity across the UK regions, working with advertisers, agencies and other industry stakeholders. The position places her within Sightly’s commercial organisation, with responsibility for developing client relationships and supporting the company’s sales operations outside the core London market.
The appointment comes as advertising businesses continue to expand their use of data, technology and digital media solutions across regional markets. For sales teams, this has increased the need to understand local advertiser requirements while connecting them with broader media and technology strategies.

Regional sales leadership can also provide a link between national advertising strategies and the specific needs of businesses operating in different parts of the UK. This includes building relationships with agencies and advertisers, identifying opportunities and maintaining communication with clients as media requirements evolve.
Sanderson’s appointment is part of Sightly’s broader hiring activity across its UK and global teams. The company has also made other recent hires from organisations including Captify and GumGum as it develops its commercial and operational functions.
For Sightly, the addition of a Director of Sales focused specifically on UK regions creates a dedicated role for regional commercial activity. The position comes at a time when advertising technology companies are working across increasingly fragmented media environments and a wider range of advertiser requirements.
Sanderson will now contribute to Sightly’s UK sales activities, with her remit centred on regional business development and client relationships. The appointment adds another layer to the company’s sales organisation as it continues to operate across the digital media and advertising ecosystem.
