Monks India has appointed Parleen Ranhotra as Growth Lead, marking her move from Google to the agency side of the marketing and advertising industry.

Ranhotra joins Monks after working at Google as Data Analyst, Marketing Partners - LCS. During her time at Google, she worked with marketing partners and was involved in data and analytics-related responsibilities. Monks was also among the clients she worked with during her tenure at Google, making the move a transition from a client-side technology environment to an agency organization.

In her new position, Ranhotra will take on growth responsibilities at Monks India. Her role comes at a time when agencies are increasingly combining media, data, technology, and creative capabilities as advertisers adapt to changes in the AdTech landscape.

Ranhotra's professional experience includes work across data analytics and marketing technology. Before Google, she also had experience with digital products and transformation at PwC India, according to industry reports.

The appointment adds another layer to Monks India's growth function as the agency continues to develop its presence across marketing services, media, technology, and data. Monks describes its business as combining marketing and technology services, including content production, enterprise technology, data science, and AI capabilities.

For Ranhotra, the new role represents a shift from analyzing marketing and partner data within a technology company to working within an agency environment where growth, client relationships, and marketing capabilities intersect.

Her transition also reflects a broader movement of professionals between technology companies and agencies, as the boundaries between advertising, marketing technology, data, and digital services continue to evolve.
