WPP Media Appoints Abhik Banerjee as Senior Vice President, Client Solutions

WPP Media has appointed Abhik Banerjee as Senior Vice President, Client Solutions, with the new role focused on client leadership for Wavemaker India’s West region.

Banerjee’s appointment adds to WPP Media’s client solutions leadership as media agencies continue to adapt to changing advertiser expectations around integrated planning, data, technology, and measurement. In his new position, he will work across client solutions and regional operations, bringing together media strategy and execution with broader business objectives.

The move comes as agencies are increasingly expected to connect media activity across digital and offline channels while providing clearer links between campaign performance and business outcomes. This has expanded the role of client solutions leaders beyond account management to include coordination across teams, platforms, data capabilities, and measurement.

Earlier this year, Shekhar Banerjee was appointed President, Client Solutions, South Asia, following Ajay Gupte’s departure from the role.
