Akeneo Names Carole Offredo as Chief Marketing Officer

Akeneo has named Carole Offredo as its new Chief Marketing Officer, bringing nearly a decade of enterprise AI marketing experience to the product experience technology company. Offredo will oversee Akeneo’s global marketing strategy, with a particular focus on expanding the company’s presence among enterprise customers in the U.S.
Offredo joins Akeneo after spending close to 10 years at Dataiku, where she helped build and scale the company’s marketing organization as it expanded into a global enterprise AI business. Her experience spans marketing organization development and the growing role of AI in enterprise technology markets.
At Akeneo, Offredo will work alongside a broader leadership expansion that also includes Jean Lethuillier as Vice President of Customer Success and Edouard Dewulf as Senior Director of the Global Center of Excellence. The appointments come as Akeneo places greater emphasis on the U.S. market and the changing requirements of AI-driven commerce.

The CMO appointment also comes as product information becomes increasingly connected to AI-enabled commerce. Akeneo’s Product Cloud is designed to help brands, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers manage and orchestrate product information across commerce channels. The company has also expanded the platform through its integration of PricingHUB and the introduction of Agentic Ziggy, an agentic interface designed to coordinate specialized AI agents across product data workflows.
For marketing teams, this shift places greater emphasis on how product data, customer experiences, and AI-driven discovery intersect. As AI systems increasingly influence how products are found and evaluated, marketing leadership is becoming more closely connected to data, technology, and commerce infrastructure.
Offredo’s appointment adds marketing leadership to Akeneo’s broader efforts around product data and AI-powered commerce, while reinforcing the company’s focus on enterprise growth in the U.S.
