Ben Genin Joins OpenAI’s EMEA Enterprise GTM Team

OpenAI has added Ben Genin to its EMEA Enterprise go-to-market team, bringing experience in B2B technology sales and revenue development to the company’s growing enterprise business.
Genin joins OpenAI after more than five years at LinkedIn, where he worked with technology startups and scale-ups on go-to-market strategies, pipeline development, and revenue growth. His previous work focused on helping businesses connect commercial objectives with measurable sales outcomes.
In his new role, Genin will support OpenAI’s enterprise activities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His responsibilities are expected to involve working with organizations exploring how AI can be incorporated into business operations, customer engagement, and internal workflows.

The move comes as enterprise adoption becomes an increasingly important part of the AI market. Companies are moving beyond experimentation with generative AI and assessing how these tools can support productivity, software development, research, customer service, and other business functions.
For go-to-market teams, this shift creates a need to explain AI capabilities in terms of practical business use cases, implementation requirements, and measurable outcomes. It also requires a clearer understanding of how AI tools fit into existing technology environments and organizational processes.
Genin’s background in B2B technology sales is relevant to this changing market. His experience working with growth-stage companies and translating go-to-market goals into commercial activity provides a foundation for engaging enterprise buyers as they evaluate AI solutions.
OpenAI’s enterprise expansion is also taking place across markets with different regulatory, procurement, and data-governance requirements. For organizations in EMEA, these considerations can influence how AI products are assessed, deployed, and integrated into existing systems.
Genin’s appointment adds another commercial-focused role to OpenAI’s enterprise organization. As businesses continue evaluating AI adoption, enterprise go-to-market teams will play an important part in connecting product capabilities with the operational and commercial priorities of customers.
