Cognition Names Brandon Camhi as SVP, Marketing

Cognition has named Brandon Camhi as Senior Vice President, Marketing, bringing a new marketing leader into the AI company behind Devin, its AI software engineering platform. Cognition confirmed Camhi’s arrival in a company update, while Camhi said he had joined the company to lead marketing.
Camhi joins Cognition as the company continues to expand its focus on AI-powered software development and agentic systems. Cognition describes itself as an applied AI lab developing end-to-end software agents, with Devin positioned as an AI software engineer designed to work alongside engineering teams.
The appointment comes shortly after Cognition announced a new funding round that valued the company at $48 billion. The company said it had raised more than $2 billion and reported that its run-rate revenue had grown from $492 million to nearly $900 million since its previous funding round in May.

Cognition has also been expanding Devin beyond individual software development tasks. The company says Devin can now support activities including incident investigation, security vulnerability triage, and automated workflows triggered through platforms such as Slack, GitHub, and Linear.
For Camhi, the move places marketing within a rapidly developing AI software category where messaging increasingly needs to explain how autonomous agents fit into existing engineering workflows and enterprise technology environments.
Cognition has been expanding its international presence as well, with offices opened during the past year in Washington, D.C., Tokyo, Singapore, London, São Paulo, and Madrid, alongside its existing hubs in San Francisco, New York, and Austin.
Camhi’s appointment adds senior marketing leadership as Cognition continues to develop its positioning around AI agents, software engineering, and enterprise adoption.
