Daan Onland Joins SVP Global Clients, InfoSum at WPP

InfoSum has appointed Daan Onland as Senior Vice President, Global Clients, adding a dedicated leadership role focused on its global client business within WPP.
Onland joins InfoSum as the company continues to develop its role within WPP’s data and technology ecosystem. WPP acquired InfoSum in 2025, bringing the data collaboration platform into its media organization and integrating its technology into WPP’s broader data and AI infrastructure.
In his new position, Onland will focus on global client engagement and business development across InfoSum’s international client base. The role includes developing a global go-to-market approach and working with WPP’s global client teams, InfoSum’s product organization, and regional leadership.

The position reflects the growing importance of privacy-focused data collaboration as marketers look for ways to connect first-party data with other business and media signals without moving or exposing underlying customer information. InfoSum’s technology is designed around decentralized data collaboration, allowing organizations to work with data across separate environments.
Onland’s appointment also comes as WPP continues to develop data and AI capabilities around its marketing technology infrastructure. InfoSum forms part of this strategy, with its technology supporting data collaboration and audience intelligence across WPP’s ecosystem.
The global client remit places Onland at the intersection of data, privacy, advertising technology, and enterprise marketing. As brands increasingly manage fragmented data across media platforms, retailers, technology providers, and internal systems, client-facing leadership in data collaboration is becoming more closely connected to broader marketing and business strategies.
InfoSum's current activities also show a continued focus on connecting first-party data and live signals while maintaining data governance and privacy controls.
Onland’s move adds a dedicated global client leadership layer to InfoSum as the company continues to operate within WPP’s expanding data and technology structure.
