Databricks has named Paige Azavedo as Senior Partner Marketing Manager, adding to its marketing organization as the company continues to work with a broad ecosystem of technology, consulting, and go-to-market partners.

In the new role, Azavedo will focus on partner marketing, a function that connects Databricks’ marketing activities with the organizations that support its sales and technology ecosystem. The position involves working across partner relationships and marketing programs to help align joint initiatives with broader business and customer objectives.

Partner marketing has become an increasingly important component of B2B technology go-to-market strategies. Technology companies often work with cloud providers, systems integrators, consulting firms, resellers, and other partners to reach enterprise customers. Marketing teams supporting these relationships typically coordinate campaigns, events, content, demand-generation programs, and other joint activities.

Databricks has an established partner marketing organization. In an earlier interview with CRN, the company’s global partner marketing leader described the function as working closely with partners across different routes to market while aligning joint marketing plans with sales and channel teams. The role also involves maintaining consistency in messaging and engagement across the partner ecosystem.

The appointment comes as Databricks continues to operate at the intersection of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence, areas that increasingly involve multiple technology and services providers. Its partner ecosystem therefore remains an important part of how the company engages enterprise organizations and brings its technology into different customer environments.

Azavedo’s move into the Senior Partner Marketing Manager position places her within this broader ecosystem-focused marketing function. Her responsibilities will be connected to the coordination of marketing efforts involving Databricks and its partners.

The role also reflects the growing specialization of B2B technology marketing, where partner programs, ecosystem engagement, and joint go-to-market activities have become distinct areas within marketing organizations.
