Flywheel Promotes Kim Hutchison to Senior Director, Commerce

Flywheel has promoted Kim Hutchison to Senior Director, Commerce, expanding her responsibilities within the company’s commerce organization.

Hutchison shared the move as a new chapter in her career at Flywheel, following nine years with the company and five different roles. Her progression reflects a broader career path across the digital commerce and retail media space.

In her new position, Hutchison will take on senior responsibilities within Flywheel’s Commerce leadership structure. The role focuses on areas including digital commerce strategy, client partnerships, team leadership, and coordination across functions supporting commerce programs.

Flywheel’s commerce business works across digital marketplaces, retail media, data, analytics, and strategy. Its Commerce organization supports brands across areas such as marketplace management, retail media, digital shelf activity, and performance measurement.

The Senior Director, Commerce position is also structured around managing strategic client relationships and working with sales, marketing, product, analytics, and other teams. Responsibilities include developing commerce strategies, supporting client teams, mentoring leaders, and identifying opportunities to address changing client and market requirements.

Hutchison’s promotion comes as commerce continues to become more closely connected with retail media, digital marketplaces, data, and consumer engagement. Retailers are increasingly operating across both commerce and media environments, creating a need for teams that can coordinate activity across multiple channels and business functions.
