OMD Names Gylije Veljic as Head of Client Operations


OMD has appointed Gylije Veljic as Head of Client Operations, adding a new leadership remit focused on client delivery and the coordination of people, capabilities, technology, and evolving ways of working.
Veljic takes on the role as media agencies continue to bring together increasingly connected teams, technology platforms, data, and operational processes across client engagements. Her appointment places client operations at the intersection of these areas, with the function playing a role in how agency capabilities are translated into day-to-day client delivery.
Client operations has become a broader discipline within media agencies as organizations manage increasingly complex marketing programs. The function can involve coordinating specialist teams, supporting operational processes, aligning technology and data resources, and helping maintain consistency across client accounts.

OMD's global leadership structure includes dedicated roles across client operations and delivery, media creativity, product, strategy, and investment. The agency currently lists Meaghan Murphy as Vice President, Client Operations & Delivery, alongside other global and regional leadership roles.
