His appointment comes as Sorenson operates at the intersection of communications technology, accessibility, and artificial intelligence. The company provides communication services for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities, with offerings spanning video relay services, interpreting, captioning, and sign language technology.
For the marketing function, Cederbaum's remit brings together several areas that are increasingly connected within technology businesses. The role also places customer engagement at the center of Sorenson's marketing strategy. As communications technologies evolve, marketers in the sector are increasingly working across product education, digital engagement, customer retention, and audience-specific messaging.
Cederbaum's move adds revenue and growth experience to Sorenson's marketing leadership as the company continues to develop its communications technology portfolio. His responsibilities will span both the strategic and operational sides of marketing, from positioning and brand development to demand generation and customer lifecycle activity.
