Her recent work includes serving as Interim CMO at Zellis, while she also operates as a marketing adviser and non-executive director through Two Jacks Communications.

The appointment comes at a time when employee experience technology is increasingly connected with artificial intelligence, enterprise search, digital workplace tools, and frontline workforce communications. Unily describes its platform as an enterprise employee experience platform serving organizations across multiple regions and languages.
Unily's leadership team includes CEO Lokdeep Singh, Chief Product and Technology Officer Sam Hassani, Chief Commercial Officer Mark Chambers, and other executives overseeing product, people, finance, and professional services. The company's current leadership page lists Katy Hiller as CMO, making Yates' appointment a change in the marketing leadership position.
The timing also coincides with Unily's continued development of AI capabilities for the digital workplace. The company recently announced Glass for Frontline, a mobile experience combining AI search, organizational knowledge, and connected workplace tools for frontline employees.
Yates' appointment places her background in B2B marketing transformation, growth, and commercial strategy within a company operating at the intersection of employee communications, workplace technology, and AI. Her remit will include marketing leadership as Unily continues to address the changing requirements of enterprise organizations and distributed workforces.
